The smell and taste, of the strong, rich and creamy aromas slide smoothly down the back of your throat warming your insides as they filter through your body. It's the first thing you think of when your alarm clock goes off in the morning and the only thing that can get you through the day.
Coffee.
We all love it, we all crave it and we all can not get enough of it.
The amount we spend on coffee is horrific, but no one seems to mind and people are quite happy to hand over the right amount of change to support their forever growing addiction. Their coffee addiction. The amount of coffee we consume is expensive, addictive and can bring up many health issues both good and bad.
Hello Alysse
ReplyDeleteI do appreciate all the information you are including and the conclusions about our coffee addictions. I think you may need to reorganise your site, placing your references last, not the links. I wonder if you could write more on this topic. I believe it is expected to publish 800+ words in the body copy. I love the coffee beans background. Oh, to introduce the smell, so intoxicating.
Thanks Lorraine for the comment still in the process of sorting everything out including the order and still adding to the content - not 100% finished!
ReplyDeleteThe smell of coffee is a great idea :)
Just on the introduction, watch out for simple things like spelling which can be jarring, eg Weather is the rain outside, you mean whether. Not being a coffee drink I can't say I fully understand but I have many friends who are addicted to the stuff, and I also worked as a barista for a few years so I know how people get when they haven't had their coffee. Or worse yet when you do not make it to the correct standard. I look forward to reading the rest of your blog.
ReplyDeleteHey Alysse, as a coffee addict you really have hit close to home here! Before I left OZ I think I could drink 4 or 5 cups a day during the week - 2 of those from a cafe. Just one last thing, please do a quick grammar check and swap out 'weather' with 'whether' in your intro as they have completely different meanings :).
